Webb Art Glass Deep Ruby Overlay Bowl with Applied Amber Glass Trail Edge

Here's a beautiful piece of Victorian Art Glass. This is a gorgeous deep Ruby Overlay Art Glass Bowl. The glass is a cream custard and it fluoresces under a black light. It measures 8" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall. The pontil is ground and finely polished.

It has a wonderful applied amber glass trail edge which is typical for Webb in England. This piece was made c. 1890 and it is in perfect condition and fantastic color. Photos do not do justice. Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home.
