Vintage Alfredo Barbini Murano Aventurine Free Form Art Glass Bowl Ashtray Dish

This thick glass piece could be used as an ashtray, a pin dish, or bowl. It is aqua in colour with aventurine (gold dust) on the exterior sporting a small, twisted pinnacle at one end. It measures 5 1/2 inches long, 4 3/4 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches high. The base is ground and polished. The piece is unsigned but quite sure that it is attributed to the renowned glass artist and designer Alfredo Barbini.
