FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is a very fine Art Deco Steuben "drink" set, featuring a pitcher, 6 cups, and a bowl with associated under plate (9 pieces total), c.
All piece are hand blown, with polished pontils on the underside. They feature black reeding, on crystal clear glass offering a striking effect. The pitcher measures 9.75" tall, and 6" wide. The cups are about 3" tall, with a 2" diameter top. The bowl is 4.5" in diameter, and the underplate is 6.25" in diameter.
All pieces are in excellent, original condition. One of the cups has a black handle (the others are clear), and another cup has some irregularity to the reeding where it angles downward, and a small piece landed on the foot. The lid to the pitcher may have a flea-bite to the lower rim (less than 1/16th; see last photo), this appears to be original to the piece and occurred during the polishing of lid. The pitcher and cups appear unused, free of calcium or mineral deposits, and fogginess. This quote is for the Continental U.
