Presenting an exceptionally impressive hand blown art glass bowl masterfully hand crafted by the quality Japanese makers Iwatsu as a part of their Hineri range circa 1960s. This stunning bowl has been crafted in a delightful cherry blossom pink with a crisp white inner casing which magnificently accentuates the richness and depth of the colour. The glass has been masterfully tooled to create thick lobes of glass which radiate from the base and an organically waved rim which adds a wonderfully dynamic sense of movement to the form and magnificently flaunts the contrasting colours. This piece would make an outstanding addition to any quality vintage art glass collection and a stunning Mid Century feature for any well designed home!

STUNNING EXAMPLE OF QUALITY MID CENTURY JAPANESE ART GLASS. This piece has been very well finished with a concave polished pontil mark to the flat ground polished base. SIZE: This impressive piece stands approx 115mms tall and measures 240mms in diameter. WEIGHT: This substantial glass piece weighs 1.850 kgs unpackaged.

CONDITION: This bowl is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Light surface scratches to the base help authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
