BIOMORPHIC VESSEL Signed Blown ART GLASS Centerpiece BOWL Purple Vase SCULPTURE

DESCRIPTION: Stunning artist signed biomorphic, clam shell, or Italian Valva style, art glass centerpiece bowl or vase. The color is a rich, and slightly dark creamy beige color, with a brilliant wide band of purple, which bleeds into the cream, and there is also a slight purple area inside of the bowl. We did much research, and could find nothing like this piece, except for the Italian Valva bowls which has a similar look and shape. We could not make out the signature of the artist, and the bottom also has an embossed mark which we could not identify. Age and origin are unknown.

SIZE/WEIGHT: Approximate measurements are: The wide opening is 11.75 across and 9 deep from rim to rim. Bowl is 12.5 from the back to the front rim, and about 5.25 tall. 3 pounds 5.25 oz. CONDITION: Very Good displayed piece of glass with a few no chips or cracks, just light scratches which are mainly on the bottom, and by the signature, but nothing major in our opinion. There are a few bubbles and an area of purple specks in the glass.
