Antique 10 Venetian Barovier Art Glass Bowl Ruby Red Diamond Swirl W Aventurine

This rare diamond swirl pattern is one that was used by the famed Barovier family of Murano Venice glass artists. This family working in art glass from the early 1600s are also famous for the clarity of their coloured glass. This is an especially challenging hand blown design to execute when used for this square bowl flowing to a round base. The clear and sparkling deep ruby red color with the gold filled (aventurine) and lacy glass edging on the rim and also creating the base makes this an exciting addition any table or art glass collection.
