It is in the RARE pattern of "FAUN" done in thick Sterling Silver overlay by the Rockwell Silver Co from Meriden CT. The pattern is quite rare with Gazelle's grazing and intricate flowers. The glass is attributed to Pairpoint with it's controlled concentric air bubbles in the center and raised polished pontil in the center. This center bowl was entirely all HAND BLOWN & FIRE POLISHED. It is hard enough to find a piece of Pairpoint Glass made in Black Amethyst Glass but to find it with this RARE, RARE, RARE, STERLING SILVER OVERLAY Pattern is simply unheard of! This is a LARGE centerpiece bowl that would be a spectacular addition to your collection! We are going to be listing a whole collection of this RARE ROCKWELL Silver Co "FAWN" pattern. It was in a China Closet that was chock full of This NEVER USED - Hard To Find - pattern! So Please check our other & upcoming Auctions! Condition In beautiful undamaged condition with no chips or cracks and the sterling silver is also in fine condition.
