Millersburg SEAWEED ANTIQUE CARNIVAL ART GLASS LARGE ICS BOWLRARE GREENBEAUTY

I ESPECIALLY WANT TO THANK THE REPEAT BUYERS. I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS, LOYALTY AND COMMUNICATION OVER THE YEARS! MY AUCTIONS ARE ALWAYS NO RESERVE AUCTIONS, HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS, THE WAY AUCTIONS SHOULD BE. SO PLEASE ENJOY AND HAVE FUN WITH THEM! This is a RARE Antique Millersburg SEAWEED Collar Based LARGE Ice Cream Shaped Bowl made in the early 1900's.

The Base Glass color is highly desirable GREEN. Here is an opportunity to own a superb piece. The elegant raised pattern details shimmer and glisten with absolute zest in natural light.

The overall iridescent presentation is satin overall and quite rich. The exterior exhibits stunning Rainbow Multi-Color all the way around making the piece easy to display and ultimately attractive from any angle. The presentation is absolutely exquisite in nature.

Loads of sharp eye appeal at any angle. The shelf presence, in terms of its sheer rarity and pure visual excellence, is absolutely TOP NOTCH!

Photographs do not do this one full justice at all. You ought to hold this thing in your hands!

If you enjoy owning classic pieces... Ones that few others have... And have been searching for an awesome GREEN example, take a good look at this tremendous piece and give it serious consideration. The photographs show the piece well... Please look them over and enjoy.

I have showed you as many angles and iridescent features as I could cram into 12 photographs. Dark areas in the photographs are absolutely reflections and shadows only. The visual presentation is absolutely as bright and beautiful as the photos show and then some... An exceptional piece of Classic Millersburg Glass! There are no markings whatsoever.

It is an Antique Millersburg piece, Antique Millersburg at i ts VERY Finest! It is every bit as grand and gorgeous as the photos show and then some. My photos are taken outside in natural indirect sunlight. I never use a flash or props.

I never enhance photos, never have, never will. I aim to show you the best iridescent color the piece offers.

If the piece looks awesome in the photos... What you see is what you will get! The piece is 9 3/4 inches wide at the widest point.

2 1/4 inches tall at the tallest point. There are NO CRACKS or REPAIRS on this RARE, Visually Exquisite Antique Millersburg LARGE Ice Cream Shaped Bowl. A Brilliant, Gleaming piece of this fine antique glass!

THE BASE: The mold seams are barely there to the touch... I can make out just very slight shelf wear on the bottom of the base which is very common for this antique glass... Certainly nothing uncommon on this superb piece. PHOTO 10 shows that there is a small, very shallow flake on the very bottom of the collar base...

Shown clearly for you next to the end of a ball point pen for easy reference to any ball point pen in your home. You can clearly see how small and insignificant it is, absolutely insignificant, in my opinion, on a truly RARE piece with fabulous visual splendor that the photographs clearly show, in total, was very well maintained over the last 100 years. It sits flat and level on a flat surface.

THE INTERIOR: I can make out some very tiny, pen-head sized flecks of wear to the iridescence on the high points of the pattern details which is very common for this pattern, very common for any piece of this fine old glass for that matter. Certainly nothing uncommon on this beautiful piece.

The close up photographs clearly show the display surface of this piece, overall, is in exceptional condition. The raised pattern details shimmer with zest in natural light.

Beautiful Rainbow Multi-Color highlights are scattered throughout the pattern details making the piece a delight and very attractive in natural light! Spectacular shelf presence in terms of its sheer rarity and exquisite visual characteristics.

THE EXTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the exterior at all. The exterior is covered in gorgeous Rainbow Multi-Color all the way around making the piece easy to display and ultimately attractive in natural light. THE EDGE: The piece is well formed in every regard.

The Ice Cream Shape is well done. The piece shows great overall balance for these.

The photographs, in total, show just how well this RARE, beautiful piece has been taken care of over the last 100 years... Kept as a show case piece in my opinion.

Opportunities to own them at all very seldom ever come along, but especially a GREEN one with visual features this attractive. An extremely elusive, remarkable piece of antique Millersburg and a classic and very classy piece of this fine Antique Glass! That is all I can find on this RARE, Exquisite Antique Millersburg LARGE Ice Cream Shaped Bowl. An tremendous example of this very elegant, highly prized pattern, very difficult to obtain shape and base glass color. This stunning beauty exhibits beautiful visual qualities throughout. The display surface shimmers with pure zest in natural light, very impressive shelf presence in terms of its sheer rarity and elegant, attractive presentation. If you appreciate Bright, Fabulous pieces of this amazing old glass...

Ones that very few others have... Here is a stunning example in GREEN... You will enjoy this outstanding piece and others will certainly appreciate it as well.

Yes is has had one incident in its long, 100 year history. None of us have lived nearly as along and there isn't a one of us who hasn't had many incidents in our short lives. It is truly RARE and it is beautiful and very well taken care of, overall, over the last 100 years. It deserves high quality shelf space for certain.

Its a piece that will add tremendous visual appeal and interest to any display as well as excellent dollar value. It is every bit as attractive as it looks and then some! I fully intend it to be that way, no glitz and glamour. I find it completely fascinating. There is nothing else like it in the world of antiques...

The historical pieces I sell are part of our history, as a country, and made right here in the good ole' USA unless I state otherwise. They represent a time when America made things, great things...

Before it was popular to sell this country out! The photographs say it all! Nothing else needs to be done or said. I do my best to point out damage or wear issues with the pieces I offer.

True antique glass always has some manufacturing marks. It was made a century ago and mass produced... Well before quality was an idea. Well before Cell Phones, Computers or any technology at all.

It is hard for people to comprehend that today, but it is fact. The working conditions were unbearable by today's standards, yet the hard working American's of this era produced some of the most amazing items ever made. Manufacturing marks within the glass are part of the charm of this period in time. If there is a manufacturing mark that is out of the ordinary... Such as excessive, contained, bubbles throughout the glass or a manufacturing heat check...

Normal manufacturing marks such as straw marks, stretch marks, enclosed bubbles, light tool marks, though, will not be mentioned and should certainly be anticipated. Look over the many photos provided. If typical manufacturing marks bother you...

Please ask questions up front! I will readily answer questions as diligently as I can.

It will further your appreciation and hone your interest. I highly recommend David Doty's Carnival Glass Website. I also find his Field Guides extremely helpful if you can find them, there are several. They are the best guide to learning patterns, especially the 2000 updated version. I also recommend Edwards and Carwile's Carnival Glass Encyclopedia...

There are several editions published. They cover the widest array of patterns of any guide I have seen and the text is excellent. There are other very worthy materials out there that will help you learn and grow, as well as numerous clubs and organizations. I use premium ONE INCH bubble wrap (not the cheap 1/4 inch) and foam peanuts to package the pieces exclusively. I take great pride in packaging these wonderful pieces of history VERY well...

Like they deserve to be packaged and I like them packaged for me. I never know how an item will sell. My goal, however, is to NEVER have a damaged piece of glass... My feedback comments prove my diligence in that regard. Running No Reserve Auctions do not always allow me to do that...

For repeat buyers I certainly will! I don't advertise it...

I just do it when I send the invoice. It is my way of saying THANK YOU! I run 7 to 10 day auctions with plenty of photos, text and lots of time for questions if needed.
