Jobling Reg No 806062 Art Deco Birds of Paradise Blue Glass Bowl - Lalique Influenced. An attractive blue glass bowl, the inner surface polished, the exterior relief moulded with three birds of paradise in flight, frosted finish. Marked with a Registration number 806062 which dates the design to 1935. This bird version of the bowl is relatively rare, pattern number 2602, the mould was produced by Etienne Franckhauser who also made moulds for Lalique and Sabino.I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: In a reasonable condition for its age, some very nicks nibbles to the top rim and a couple to the surface (about 1mm diameter) otherwise free of chips and cracks. Scratches inside the bowl from use and the odd small scratch to the outside. Slight wear to the birds where they act as feet. Size:Height 9.5cm/3.75in, width 21.5cm/8.5in.
