This Art Deco Rare Uranium Glass Float Bowl with Green Uranium Lady Figurine Is Getting Scarce. These bowls were made during the Depression Era in the 1920's and 1930's. The Green Uranium Lady centrepiece is standing with a drape partially around her and she glows strongly under a black light. She has short hair in a bob hair style. The figurine has 4 flaky small chips on the very bottom underside edge that you can't see when it is on display. The photo is blown up and the chips look much larger than they are. They range in size between 2mm and 6mm (1/4 inch). The figurine is 20 cms (8 inches) tall and the bottom measuring 6.5 cms (2.5 inches) across.
The bowl is a lovely fir and cone pattern uranium glass bowl which glows strongly under a black light. There is a registered number "Reg D NO 777133" on the bottom of the bowl. There are a couple little flakes on the rim of the bowl where it sits on the table. The bowl measures 20 cms (8 inches) in diameter. The bowl is 7 cms (2 & 3/4 inches) high. I have tried to take the best photos I can but for this type of glass it is hard to get photos that really do justice to the beauty of this float bowl. Float bowls like this are becoming scarce. It would be ideal for a collector or some one that likes uranium glass. I always double box and wrap any bowls I send really well because I know what it is like to receive broken bowls that haven't been wrapped properly.
