This is a beautiful and quite uncommon British art deco glass bowl, with the design number 780719 (registered in 1933) on the base. By Jobling Glass, it is in the rarest of the Tudor Rose patterns, and is also very rare in this amber colour. Measuring 24.5cm wide it is in very good condition with no chips or crack, just usage marks to the interior and a couple of tiny nibbles and dings to the exterior. This is a superb piece of art glass, and a highly decorative item which echoes the work of Lalique in France at the same time, but made for a mass-market.
